Benelux Security and Privacy meeting 2026

The Benelux security and privacy is organized by SURF, Belnet and the Restena Foundation, respectively acting as the National Research and Education Networks (NREN) for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

After being organized in Brussels (Belgium) in 2024 and in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) in 2025 with around 50 participants, the third edition of the meeting will gather interested Benelux professionals in Maastricht (The Netherlands).

For whom?

The meeting is intended for security and privacy professionals from the research and education communities in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, with a particular focus on the higher education sector.

Practical information

• Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
• Places are limited, so be sure to register early.
• Participants are responsible for organising and funding their own travel and accommodation.
• Dinner on the first evening is included.
• The meeting will be held in English.
